NoDa brewing co. can & package design

I was honored with the opportunity to design the first ever packaging that NoDa Brewing Co. has used in the history of their company.
Previously they have only sold their beers in 4 packs using Packtechs so this was a new chance for them to showcase their design on a much larger & dynamic canvas.
A little background on NoDa Brewing Company: They are a local Charlotte brewery that makes big waves. This award-winning brewery is not only the second largest in production in CLT, but was also one of the first. They are a local staple that has expanded their reach across nearly all of North and South Carolina.
For Lager Days I was tasked with creating a design that was quintessentially North & South Carolina. It was imperative that it capture all the Carolina’s have to offer while still giving of the easy-living feeling that goes with this easy-drinking beer.
Haze So-Low was a redesign of a previously offered beer. Originally the beer took on a Star Wars-esque theme, which is where the name comes from. Giving a nod to the design life it previously led, we kept the name and utilized the gradient from the original concept with a little reinvention.
With a second hand from Wild Bloom Co. I organized a fun shoot to photograph and create some photos and gifs showcasing my printed work.
The biggest highlight of this project was the fact that my designs were featured in retailers (Harris Teeter, Total Wine, Trader Joes, local bottle shops, etc.) year-round across both Carolina’s!
