Kresston is a master-planned community located near Houston. This community falls under the iconic Johnson Development Communities umbrella, a respected and established development company with over 20 different master-planned communities to their name. Our job at ST8MNT was to start from the ground up - beginning with a brand workshop to uncover the brand direction, and spanning from naming, branding, copywriting, website design, signage, and much more.

The brand we established for Kresston is unapologetically Texan, using authenticity and grit as its north star. In addition, this community has a large focus on nature and should never feel anything but welcoming. The monogram is inspired by a cattle brand, while the tagline “Live Legendary” gives folks a taste of the bold and warm attitude they can expect from this community.

In addition to branding, the team at ST8MNT helped established how this brand is carried across many platforms, even down to naming districts and streets within the community. Every piece that we’ve designed helps further tell the story of this community, painting a clear picture of life in this Texan masterpiece.
