The Agency Marketing Group was selected and awarded a grant to help community businesses who are struggling in the aftermath of COVID with their marketing needs. One of the recipients of said work was NoDa Bodega, a local deli & shop that provides sandwiches and more that everyone in the NoDa community knows and loves. After assessing their needs, the top priority was a rebrand of their logo, one that includes their full name (and what they are known as) rather than an abbreviated version.

We wanted to keep the integrity of the look of a local deli, while elevating it to a design that could expand and be seen all over the country and wouldn’t feel out of place. A deli that with locations all over the world (we can dream!) still feels like home. They also offer artisan and gourmet ingredients and catering, so it’s important to appeal to that front as well. It was an easy decision to keep the classic deli ketchup and mustard color vibes. With the update of a fun and clean text treatment the main logo mark says a lot with its simple design. It was important to me to include a circular option to pay homage to their original logo.

Here were a couple contenders that didn’t quite make the cut, but had a good shot using the same combination of fonts and colors! I could very well see some of the below options being used on other touchpoints in support of the main logo.
